chile bilingual guide

Hi!  I’m Kylie, bilingual wine enthusiast and founder of Chile Wine Trails.

Chile Wine Trails was created to give visitors more access to the fabulous wine regions of Chile, on a personalised level.  Tours designed to give insight and variety, and take you to places you may not discover on their own.

I have always been a passionate explorer, with a love of travel, culture, food and wine.  I’m an “off-the-beaten-track” traveller.  I like to dig a little deeper, stay a little longer, and eat “outside the town square”.  My explorations have included extended periods in Europe, Central and South America, and trips to the US, South Africa, and parts of Asia.

In 2012, I left the corporate world in Australia to return to South America and pursue my passion for food, wine and travel.  I settled in Santiago, wine capital of South America, where I started exploring ways to share my passion with others.

With time spent in the wineries, and my own travels, I am continually learning about wine.  In 2015, I formalised some of my training by completing the WSET Level Three Award in Wines in London.

Chile has so much to offer, and Santiago makes the perfect base from which to explore the surrounding wine regions.

I love to see people enjoying their wine experience – learning new things, tasting new wines, meeting the people involved, sharing good food and, overall, just having a great time.

I hope that you will join me for what promises to be a fabulous wine experience.
